​What Are The Benefits of Apex  Mats?

 

Cost Savings:
Apex Mats last longer than conventional oak mats.  As a result, our daily rental rates are less.

Reduction of Freight  Costs:
Apex Mats weigh about one-third as much as conventional timber mats enabling up to 45 of them to be shipped on a standard truck, compared to only 16 with most timber mats.

Durability:
Apex Mats are drilled and bolted with five rods instead of four. In addition, we capture the cut-out timbers with a compression sleeve at the lift points to prevent decompression.

​

Long Lasting:
Apex Mats can be constructed with outside oak timbers for wear resistance. We use 20-year treated SYP core timbers to prevent rot that you may find in conventional timber mats.

PROclose  Program

Apex offers a proprietary in-plant stocking program that eliminates contaminant and chemical transference.

Safety:
The Apex PR Mat has no cut outs for lift point trip hazards. The surface is flat with recessed fallaway lifting with OSHA/ASME B30.20 approved overhead lifting connections.
